1945 Chevy 1/2 Ton Pickup

This former WW2 Navy Chevy Truck is so cool that at Viva Las Vegas car show earlier this month, Claire Sinclair, the 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year even wanted to pose with it !!!! At the car show, the guys thought the truck was “bad-ass” and the dolls thought the truck was “sexy” — I was going for Bad Ass, so the Sexy with all the attention from the ladies was a nice surprise.. anyway, after World War 2, this cool Chevy, 6 cylinder truck ended up as a farming family’s favorite truck up in Bakersfield California and was named “CLYDE” and was a very loved member of their family, until I found out about it and bought it and brought it to Vegas. The truck came to me in great condition with virtually all of it’s original parts in place.. but little did this family know what I had it mind for Clyde. Luckily, the truck did not and does not have even a hint of rust.. again this is a RUST FREE truck ! but I treated the Body to a frame off body work and Satin Black paint-job And I added the Harley Orange, to the body molding and the original wheels. To keep the Harley theme we installed Diamond Plate to the bed and inner tailgate and even added 8 strong rings to tie down your hog or vintage British bike with safety and pride. Let me see.. what else can I tell you ?… beside the paint and body, it’s running gear is just about all original, it’s a stick shift… the truck could use a new headliner.. I have not gotten to that yet, but may add that before you buy it , or better yet, you can do it to your own taste later. This truck runs great and starts right up every time and everything works. Its has a newer stereo hidden in the glove box. Again, I was so thrilled to get such a great reaction at the Viva Las Vegas, and I’m so glad everyone is as crazy about this truck as I am.. but its a great running collectors item that I restored to go to a great home who will take care of Clyde for another 50 years or so !!!!
